Rizzo herausgegeben und post mortem bei Gordon und Breach ver\u00f6ffentlicht wurde. Einheit durch Vielfalt ist bekanntlich das Leitmotiv des Denkens von Ludwig von Bertalanffy. Es ist das angemessene Leitmotiv dessen, was die Systemwissenschaft tut – n\u00e4mlich durch eine Vielfalt von Disziplinen die Verhaltensweisen und Strukturen zu erforschen, die der Einheit von Systemen der realen Welt zugrunde liegen und diese zu untermauern. Das Konzept der translationalen Forschung kommt urspr\u00fcnglich aus der medizinischen Wissenschaft zur Verbesserung der menschlichen Gesundheit und des Wohlbefindens. Translationale medizinische Forschung wird oft mit dem Begriff „Bench to Bedside“ beschrieben. Sie legt den Schwerpunkt darauf, die Erkenntnisse der Grundlagenforschung (at bench) schneller und effizienter in die medizinische Praxis (at bedside) zu \u00fcbertragen. Gleichzeitig treiben die Bed\u00fcrfnisse und Anforderungen aus der Praxis die Entwicklung neuer und innovativer Ideen und Konzepte voran. In diesem eng gekoppelten Prozess ist es wichtig, Barrieren f\u00fcr die multidisziplin\u00e4re Zusammenarbeit zu beseitigen.<\/p>\n Die vorliegende Reihe versucht, eine Br\u00fccke zu schlagen und die in Systemkonzepten, -logik, -theorien und -modellen begr\u00fcndete Grundlagenforschung mit der Systempraxis und -methodik zu einem Prozess der Systemforschung zu integrieren.
