{"id":572,"date":"2011-11-03T16:37:24","date_gmt":"2011-11-03T15:37:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bertalanffy.org\/?p=572"},"modified":"2014-10-14T17:25:32","modified_gmt":"2014-10-14T15:25:32","slug":"kick-off-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bcsss.org\/de\/2011\/kick-off-meeting\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8222;Systems in Biology&#8220; Kick-off meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 27. and 28.10.2011 the kick-off meeting of the research project <a href=\"http:\/\/systems-in-biology.univie.ac.at\"><em>Systems in Biology \u2013 How can early theoretical approaches contribute to current versions of Systems Biology?<\/em><\/a> was held at the Department of Theoretical Biology \/ University of Vienna.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of the research project\u00a0\u2014 which is performed in co-operation with the BCSSS \u2014 is to compare earlier and modern system approaches in biology in order to establish a basis for integration. In the kick-off meeting the components for such an integration were explored. Accordingly, the major issues and ideas of earlier and recent accounts were discussed in detail.
