The event included sessions on \u201cRobotic in Care Work\u201d, \u201cCulture of Innovation in Social Economy\u201d, and \u201cDigitalisation in Care Work\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The cooperation between the <a href=\"http:\/\/universal-design.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Institute for Universal Design (IUD)<\/a> and the BCSSS was initiated by our BCSSS members Martin F\u00f6\u00dfleitner who is board member of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.designaustria.at\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">designaustria<\/a> as well as Vice Chairman of the IUD and Thomas Bade, CEO of the IUD.<\/p>\n<p>Martin and Thomas have the vision to further develop Systemic Thinking competence for designers.<\/p>\n<p>A university course in corporation with our partner IUD and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sfu.ac.at\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sigmund Freud University Vienna<\/a>, among others, is in the course of preparation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Further Links<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/universal-design.org\/resources\/IUD-Jahrbuch-web_final.pdf\">Yearbook 2018<\/a> of the Institute for Universal Design.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The BCSSS was represented at the General Meeting of the Universal Design Forum on October 18th, 2018 in Weimar, Germany and the conference on \u201cRobotic Discourses from a Universal Design View \u2013 Time to Take a Stand\u201d.
