Her programme for 2019 includes streamlining of the platform\u2019s activities, tighter connection between ECESP and other EU bodies, and fostering circular culture across Europe by bringing creative industries into the loop.<\/p>\n<p>The ECESP was established in 2017 as a joint effort by the European Commission and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eesc.europa.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">European Economic and Social Committee (EESC)<\/a>. It serves as a \u201cnetwork of networks\u201d and goes beyond sectorial activities and highlights cross-sector opportunities and challenges, providing a meeting place for stakeholders to share their solutions and team up to address specific challenges, while bridging existing initiatives, and advocating the circular economy at national, regional and local level, and supporting its implementation.
